Know your application fee
The fee schedule for the Mayor's Office of Special Events can be found here. Fees are dependent upon the host organization’s status (for-profit or non-profit), type of event, and expected attendance.
The Office reserves the right to make the final decision on what is required of an applicant.
Know when to apply
For those hosting an outdoor festival, allot 90 days from the event start date for the permitting process.
For those hosting an assembly or large gathering, allot 30 days from the event start date for the permitting process.
Applications submitted beyond these deadlines may be denied.
Know about additional sub-permits
This online application will walk you through the permitting process, as well as any additional sub-permits or supporting documents you may need to complete your application. Details regarding subpermits can be obtained from MOSE at 404-330-6741. The end of the application will give you an opportunity to upload any supporting documents, if applicable to your event.
If a question on the application does not apply to your event and/or organization, please type n/a into the field. You will not be able to proceed through the application if any fields are left blank.
