Introduction:
Welcome to the City of Atlanta Online Business Tax Renewal. This service allows you to report actual gross revenue and number of employees for the prior year. The actual gross revenue and number of employees will be used to renew you current year business tax.

Eligibility:
To be eligible to renew business tax online, you must meet the following criteria:
  • Your account must be active with a valid business tax number and pin number.
  • The owners and/or principals of your business must be the same as those originally reported to the City of Atlanta through a tax application or a change form.
  • The location of your business must be the same as originally reported to the city of Atlanta. Any changes to the physical location require Zoning approval.
  • The legal entity/legal name holding the business tax certificate must be the same as originally reported to the City of Atlanta.
  • If your business requires a regulatory permit from City of Atlanta’s Public Safety, Zoning or other government agency prior to being licensed by our office, you cannot use our online renewal service until you have successfully addressed all regulatory issues.
  • Please note that some business types are not eligible for online renewal based on their SIC code. These businesses include: parking garages, attorneys, legal services and any business with an account with a returned mailing address not included in their online renewal file.
