Welcome to the City of Atlanta’s Online Business Tax Renewal Site.
This service allows you to report actual gross revenue and number of employees for the prior year. The actual gross revenue and number of employees will be used to renew your current year business tax.

Business License Renewal Extended

Due to inclement weather, the deadline for business license renewal has been extended to the close of business on February 17, 2015.

Before you begin checklist:
Please have the following information available to successfully complete the online renewal process:
  1. Business Tax Number.
  2. PIN Number.
  3. Copy of Government Issued Photo Identification.
  4. 2014 Actual Gross Revenue.
  5. Number of Employees.
  6. Notarized SAVE Affidavit.
  7. Notarized E-Verify Affidavit.

RENEWAL DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 15, 2015

Per Ordinance 04-O-1810, failure to renew your business license by February 15, 2015 will result in a $500.00 failure to file penalty.

2015 Eligibility:
To be eligible to renew business tax online, you must meet the following criteria:
  1. You must have renewed (online, mail in or walk in) your business license in 2014. Your account must be active with a valid business tax number and PIN number.
  2. The following business types are NOT eligible for online renewal based on their SIC code: parking garages, non-profits, attorneys, legal services, and insurance agencies.
  3. The location of your business must be the same as reported to the City of Atlanta. Any changes to the physical location will require zoning approval and requires a $50 processing fee.
